Enjoy your lunch while listening to stories from Peter Kuruvita and Jonette Wilton about creating the book and from Christine, who volunteered at the Foundation of Goodness in Sri Lanka. It was here that she saw first-hand the need for funds to help impoverished villagers.
Christine’s idea turned into a 400-page cookbook! In collaboration with locals, Peter Kuruvita from the Noosa Heads restaurant, Alba by Kuruvita, and Jonette Wilton from the Noosa publishing house, Sunday Press, the team gathered traditional Sri Lankan recipes from villages across Sri Lanka, as well as some from selected guest chefs across Australia, to produce this 400-page bible of local cuisine.
Books will be available to purchase on the day or can be bought ONLINE HERE.
Please Note: All guests will be seated communally on long tables | Curries are made to traditional recipes, each will vary from Mild to Spicy.
